We’ve gone and collected a list of all the new Vancouver restaurants you should look into trying this month.

There is always a lot of chowing down for us to do in our city, and these new eateries make our to-eat lists longer than ever.

Vancouver’s OG spot for healthy salads, Field & Social, just opened its fourth location in Yaletown at 1030 Mainland Street. The 1,445-sq-ft, 15-seat, minimalist space is looking gorgeous thanks to Janks Design Group and Harmony Pacific contracting.

Fixins Mac n’ Chicken, Vancouver’s new ghost kitchen concept, is officially up and running. The new pop-up from the folks at Tap & Barrel and BREWHALL just launched with a menu of comfort eats available exclusively for delivery around Vancouver.

This fresh 491-sq-ft shop is located at 102 West Hastings Street and offers up Korean-inspired boba drinks made using consciously sourced ingredients. This means patrons can expect sweet sips incorporating ingredients like roasted corn, dalgona, yu-ja, and Jolly Pong, to name a few.

This famous Taiwanese bubble tea chain opened its new #4621 Kingsway outpost in December. This brand is known for its brown sugar boba made with fresh milk “tiger stripes” in layers of caramelized brown sugar.

The Vegetarian Butcher has quietly soft-opened its second BC location in Vancouver. This spot for meat alternatives for vegetarians is currently operating at 303 Abbott Street in Gastown. It will be celebrating its grand opening on January 16.

Breka Bakery & Cafe is set to be “coming soon” to Main Street, according to signage at the new location. The popular destination is known for offering up delicious baked goods and savoury eats 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Breka’s logo is plastered on the windows and door at 4554 Main Street, which is located just a few blocks from Sula’s newly opened restaurant.

Popular Japanese tonkatsu spot Saku is planning to change things up with one of its Vancouver locations, the team confirmed to Daily Hive. The eatery currently operates two outposts on W Broadway and in Vancouver’s West End, and the latter will be moving from 1773 Robson Street to a bigger location, just two blocks away at 1588 Robson Street.

Victoria-based vegan food phenomenon The Very Good Butchers is officially opening a huge flagship location in Vancouver. On a call with Dished Vancouver, the company’s CEO Mitchell Scott shared details about the plans for a new 10,000-sq-ft facility slated to open at the Nickel at 285 West 5th in Mount Pleasant.
