Bishop's to remain open "a little longer" despite closing announcement
Legendary culinary establishment Bishop’s Restaurant is keeping the delicious party going just a little bit longer.
Back in March, the Kitsilano restaurant announced it would be closing its doors after an impressive 35 years of operation. The eatery shared that August 1, 2020, was slated to be its last day of service.
But, since then much has changed, including the onset of the pandemic.
Months after the first closure announcement, Bishop’s revealed that it would, in fact, be in business until the end of 2020, and now, it turns out they are keeping things going.

No new closing date was shared, but the eatery did confirm that staff would be taking a break from January 1 to 13 before re-opening the restaurant on January 14, 2021.
So there you have it, now you’ve got another chance to head into this iconic spot before it closes its doors for good…whenever that is!
