We’ve gone and collected a list of all the new Vancouver restaurants you should look into trying this month.

There is always a lot of chowing down for us to do in our city, and these new eateries make our to-eat lists longer than ever.

Here are 35 new Vancouver restaurants for you to try right now, or in the near future.

Popeyes told Daily Hive that the new outpost will be located at 12800 Bridgeport Road, and they revealed it will be opening on December 1.

If you’re heading in to dine at downtown Vancouver’s newest culinary destination, Street Auntie Aperitivo House, buckle up — a meal here is an immersive journey. Owner Yuyina Zhang drew inspiration for the new addition to the city’s Entertainment District from her childhood experiences growing up in Yunnan Province, China, where street food vendors are referred to as “Street Aunties.”

The much-loved purveyor of Korean street eats has been offering up its grub at Burrard and Pender since 2017, and now it will be opening its first counter-service eatery in Gastown at 60 West Cordova Street, the former location of Tuc Craft Kitchen.

The Dolar Shop is now open in Burnaby at 2-6078 Silver Drive, the unit located right in between Cactus Club and Earls. This outpost is the brand’s second in Metro Vancouver. It also operates a location at Lansdowne Centre in Richmond.

Luckys Exotic Bodega

Lucky’s Exotic Bodega is Vancouver’s newest destination for exotic and rare snacks and drinks, alongside trendy streetwear. The new souped-up corner store is currently soft open in Hastings Sunrise at 2641 East Hastings. Lucky’s offers a great selection of hard-to-find-snacks, and tells patrons they can expect regular drops of Supreme and Jordan’s, to name just a few big labels.

In contrast to its enchanted garden-inspired sister spot, Sula Main Street has been outfitted into an airy lounge featuring natural light, reclaimed wood, white brick walls, and antiques around the dining room thanks to the help of Pacific Solutions Contracting. And it’s not just offering a different look for patrons, as Sula Main Street will dish out a different menu and a playful cocktail program as well.

A new Syrian-Lebanese pop-up restaurant offering takeout and delivery has launched in Vancouver, and it’s called Yasma. This new concept comes to us from the same folks behind Kitsilano’s Dark Table and aims to bring flavours and dishes of the Levant region to Vancouver.

This Japanese bakery will be open from 10 am to 3 pm from Tuesday to Saturday at its E Hastings Street location during its soft opening period starting December 1. Kanadell will offer its regular farmers market menu only at the moment, so you’ll have to wait for those signature cakes.

Breka Bakery & Cafe is set to be “coming soon” to Main Street, according to signage at the new location. The popular destination is known for offering up delicious baked goods and savoury eats 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Breka’s logo is plastered on the windows and door at 4554 Main Street, which is located just a few blocks from Sula’s newly opened restaurant.

Signage for a new eatery called Hoshi Japanese Cuisine has been plastered on the window of the former location of M8 Bistro. The 1010 Beach Avenue address is tucked right next to Beach Ave Bar and Grill, which took over the former space of TAPshack near Burrard Bridge this past spring.

A new modern Asian restaurant called “Saola” is set to open in Vancouver. Slated to open at 2415 Main Street in early 2021, the folks behind this project include Do Chay’s Patrick Do, seasoned hospitality veteran Kevin Lin, and actor-producer and actor-writer Osric Chau and Nicholas Carey, respectively.

This new Japanese hand roll eatery is officially opening its first location downtown on Robson Street, and Daily Hive chatted with the team to find out more about what we can expect from it. The space itself is 1,500 sq ft and is slated to feature seats for 24 as well as a U-shaped bar where patrons can enjoy 11 varieties of warm and crispy hand rolls made right before their eyes.
