Waterfront neighbourhood spot M8 Bistro & Bar has quietly closed its doors in Vancouver.

The 60-seat, 1010 Beach Avenue restaurant was tucked right next to Beach Ave Bar and Grill, which took over the former space of TAPshack near Burrard Bridge this past spring.

Opened in Spring 2018, M8 Bistro offered patrons a menu of Chinese-Italian fusion eats from Chef Frank Xin.

M8 offered a sizeable patio and breezy dining room with re-imagined Chinese Opera artwork.
