There is a lot of chowing down for us to do in Vancouver, and these spots make our to-eat lists longer than ever.

Just opened, opening soon, or newly re-opened, here are all the new delicious Vancouver restaurants to try this month.

Mr. Tonkatsu has opened at 10320 152 St A in Surrey, right across from right across Guildford Mall. Known for its authentic deep-fried pork cutlet served with shredded, unlimited cabbage salad, sweet sauce, and housemade panko, Mr. Tonkatsu currently operates a handful of locations in Ontario.

The new location is saddled up right next to Earls’ latest spot, which opened in April of this year. Opening on July 16, Cactus Club Station Square is adjacent to Burnaby’s Metrotown Shopping Centre, which means it’s sure to be a very busy location for the restaurant group.

The Totoro-themed concept will be opening at 666 East Broadway, the former location of Mensch Jewish Delicatessen. The space will consist of a cafe and lounge side, and a cat cuddling side, not unlike other cat-centric cafes you may have heard of. It’s set to open July 29.
