4 Vancouver food trucks you need to hit up this spring

DH Vancouver Staff Mar 29, 2019 8:00 am 583

As the weather gets nicer and the days get longer, the more likely we are to step out of our homes and office in search of Vancouver’s top food trucks.

This city is in no shortage of awesome food trucks, but here are a few of our favourites you should hit up this season.

For all times and locations day-of, be sure to check The Street Food App before you head out.

If you’ve eaten at this truck’s brick and mortar eatery, then you know you’re into a treat when you step up to it. Enjoy authentic Neapolitan fare like the Neapolitan Saltimbocca, a wood-fire sandwich made using bread baked in a wood fire oven.

Wakwak Burger

The charming food truck would park itself on the street, just south of Pender daily. The black and gold vehicle is known for its $2.85 hamburgers, quickly becoming one of Vancouver’s most affordable and reliable street eats.

Address: 523 Granville Street, Vancouver (times vary)

Superbaba Food Truck comes to us from the same owners who opened the Victoria hotspot in 2017. It offers chicken sandwiches, vegan falafel sandwiches, bowls, hummus, and turmeric cookies to name a few.

Address: 555 Burrard Street, Vancouver (Burrard and Dunsmuir)

This is the truck to head to if you’re in the mood for some Nashville style spicy fried chicken burgers, fried chicken/smoky beef rice bowls, and organic lemonade.

Address: 505 Burrard Street, Vancouver (Monday to Friday from 11 am to 2:45 pm)
