Dished recently had the chance to chat with Canadian rapper bbno$ during his visit to Vancouver and had the chance to chat with him about some of his favourite local restaurants.

Since the rapper was born and raised in Vancouver, he was able to give us some great recommendations for food ranging from burgers to sushi and everything in between.

When it came to handhelds, bbno$ said Between 2 Buns has the best burger in town, and Don’t Argue Pizza serves the best pizza in the city. He also gave a special shoutout to Phnom Penh for its “crazy wings.”

With Vancouver being such a cafe-loving city, we had to ask him about his favourite spot for coffee, which he said was Revolver. “I feel like they brew their coffee better than most places.”

Another thing that Vancouver loves is its sushi, and bbno$ recommended that people try Sushi Shu, which he said was delicious.

And when it came to date spots, he had quite a few suggestions.

“Birds and The Beets rocks, and then it turns into Bar TarTare,” he said. For those looking for something more private, he also recommended The Narrow Lounge. And on the topic of bars, he also mentioned Keefer Bar was “incredible.”

Then, as a final shoutout, bbno$ gave some extra love to a spot called Lamajoun, which he grew up eating. He talked about how his dad would call up the owner, Serge, for chicken and how the stone-roasted chicken was so good.
