Vancouver neighbourhood to house some of the city's most highly anticipated restaurants

As always, there are plenty of new restaurants opening in and around the city that we are excited about. However, one Vancouver neighbourhood seems to be getting some serious love when it comes to new and highly anticipated eateries: Coal Harbour.
For starters, as of July 23, % Arabica has recently returned to Oakridge Park Gallery for its uber popular coffee pop-up.
The independent coffee brand is best known for its high-quality coffee, as well as the elevated design of each of its storefronts. When it first opened last year, this pop-up drew some serious lines, so be sure to time your visit accordingly.

Dished
This is currently the only location in Metro Vancouver where you can grab % Arabica’s drinks; otherwise, you have to travel to Whistler to get a cup of this coffee. An outpost in CF Richmond Centre is also in the works.
Speaking of cafes, Nami Vietnamese recently confirmed to Dished that it plans to open a location in the neighbourhood as well.
You may remember Nami from its pop-up at the Bentall Centre, where it first started pouring up classic Vietnamese coffee. Since then, it has opened a permanent location in the lobby of the HSBC building at 885 W Georgia St.
This new location will be its second brick-and-mortar, and is promised to be a more food-forward concept. But don’t worry, you’ll still be able to find its selection of fan-favourite Vietnamese coffee and matcha when it opens sometime between late winter and early spring.

If two cafes aren’t enough for you, a third one is also planning to open in the area. Ciclo Cafe and Cocktail
First available at Social Corner’s Yaletown location, and then outside of Acquafarina, this new Ciclo location at 1020 W. Cordova St. will mark a significant evolution for the brand, introducing a full cocktail program for the very first time.
During the day, you’ll be able to enjoy an espresso, flaky pastry, or its signature Panino Porta, but at night, the space will become a stylish cocktail bar featuring curated small plates and signature drinks like the Ciclo Espresso Martini. Additionally, it’ll be serving up gelato.

Of course, a Ciclo Cafe and Cocktail location couldn’t be complete without a nearby Social Corner, which is why one will be opening steps away at Guinness Tower at 1050 W Cordova St. (the previous home of Chewies Steam and Oyster Bar).
The space will feature plenty of luxurious materials and heritage details. Examples include a salvaged and refurbished hostess stand (which was originally a 130-year-old General Electric stand-up radio), walnut millwork and copper countertops throughout the space, and a striking Murano glass chandelier in the private dining room.

Additionally, Social Corner Coal Harbour will have not one, but two patios. The first will be a seasonal Mediterranean-style patio with a custom-built seven-tonne limestone fountain, while the other is a 120-seat enclosed year-round area with a 72-inch fireplace.
Social Corner Coal Harbour’s menu will feature more ocean-forward offerings, including fresh oysters, caviar, and seafood towers, as well as pescado frito (a coastal classic brought to life with crisp textures and bold citrus-forward seasonings).
But don’t worry, you’ll still be able to find plenty of Social Corner faves here as well, including its paella, pizzas, and the much-loved burger.
