Over half-century-old chocolate shop to open in Metro Vancouver — and it's selling chocolate by weight
Heads up, Metro Vancouver, we’ve got some pretty sweet news for you.
The 63-year-old chocolate shop Läderach is gearing up to open its first B.C. location right here in Metro Vancouver, and we’ve got all the details.
Located inside CF Richmond Centre, this new outpost will be offering an assortment of fresh, artisan Swiss chocolate.
“We are delighted to expand our presence of premium Swiss chocolate in Canada,” said Warren Dunkelberger, president of Läderach North America.
This location will feature its signature FrishSchoggi counter. Here, customers will be able to select from multiple artisanal slabs of fresh chocolate and have Läderach chocolatiers break off pieces to be purchased by weight.

You’ll also be able to find single-origin tablet bars, chocolate popcorn, seasonal assortments, and a rotating selection of new creations, all crafted in Switzerland.
