Korean BBQ restaurant with massive sushi rolls opens in popular Metro Vancouver mall

It’s no secret that The Amazing Brentwood has been popping off when it comes to the food scene. With so many great spots like the three-story Tap and Barrel, Bow & Stern, or one of the many food court staples like Japadog, there are plenty of places to choose from.
But, when White Spot’s R+D Kitchen closed its doors, we were curious as to what would eventually take its place. Now we have an answer for you.
Korean BBQ restaurant Sooda has moved into the spot as of December 2024.
Sooda’s claim to fame lies in its Sooda Boxes, its giant 46 cm sushi rolls available in a variety of flavours. It also operates a location in Gastown and is the team behind the new all-you-can-eat pork belly restaurant Porker Face.
