Local Vancouver chocolate maker Koko Monk officially opened their second location on October 16. Located at 2883 West Broadway, this is the second outpost for the sweet treat maker. The original Koko Monk, at 1849 West 1st Avenue, has been open since 2013.

Purebread, one of Vancouver’s most beloved bakeries, quietly opened another location in the city, this time in Kitsilano. This will be the fifth bakery for the local chain, including the two in Whistler along with a Gastown and new Mount Pleasant location.

This Toronto-based soft serve ice cream and treat purveyor just opened at Metropolis at Metrotown in Burnaby. Sweet Jesus Metrotown will be open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 9 pm and Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm. Find it on the ground level of the mall just passed the Superstore entrance.

We found out beloved Yaletown coffee shop Small Victory had plans for a new location last winter, and the second spot is officially open for business. The local purveyor of treats and caffeinated beverages opened its South Granville location at the end of September.

Nook is one of the city’s favourite places to head for homemade Italian comfort food.
