Yep, you read it right.

The legendary lineups-for-hours brunch spot, Jam Cafe, has finally confirmed that a second Vancouver location is in the works.

Jam Cafe operated its first location in Old Town Victoria before opening the high-traffic Beatty Street location in Downtown Vancouver in spring 2016.

Famous for their eats like Pulled Pork Pancakes, Chicken French Toast, Green Eggs and Ham, Red Velvet Pancakes, and the iconic Charlie Bowl, one glance at Jam’s Instagram and it’s not hard to see why they boast arguably the most sought-after brunch in the city.

So where exactly is the new Jam Cafe going in? The already oh-so-brunchable neighbourhood of Kitsilano.

The new 2,200-sq-ft, 60-65 seat location will be replacing the soon-to-be-shuttered Bistro Pastis at 2153 West 4th Avenue.

Patrons can expect the same charming vintage interior, relaxed vibe, outrageously drool-worthy eats, and hours (daily from 8 am to 3 pm) from the third location of the epic brunch spot from co-owners Jim and Candy Walmsley and Mike Deas-Dawlish.

Jim and Mike told Daily Hive by phone they are aiming to have this spot up and running by the first week of November.

“It’s going to have the same vibrancy and upbeat feel, it’ll be a good mix,” Jim said.

When asked about expansion plans beyond the third location, the pair said they are always looking for more opportunities, but also aiming to “stay humble and not get too big too fast.”

We’ll keep you posted on the exact opening date for Jam Cafe Kitsilano.
