3 new ghost kitchen concepts we can't wait to try in Vancouver

Ghost kitchens have become more popular than ever, and there are a few we can’t wait to check out that are open now or opening soon in Vancouver.

These ventures typically mean purveyors use a kitchen in a commissary or another restaurant to create a unique menu under a takeout/delivery-only brand.

Here are three new ghost kitchen concepts in Vancouver we can’t wait to try.

Super Baked Deep Dish

Vancouver’s newest place for hearty ‘za officially launched last week: Super Baked Deep Dish. The new concept is brought to us by Erik Heck, co-owner of The Flying Pig Group of Restaurants. Folks can head to Super Deep’s website now and opt for a 14″ signature creation, or they can build-their-own pie.

Vancouver’s new mochi donut shop Mochido is set to launch next month, so the countdown is officially on. The concept describes itself as a “cloud kitchen” that will be operating out of Commissary Connect at 107-8811 Laurel Street. The maker has been developing its mochi recipe for the past year and prides itself on using fresh, premium ingredients to make signature Pon de Ring donuts. Mochido will soft open on Friday, April 2.

Address: 107-8811 Laurel Street, Vancouver

The fresh concept, which will be launching soon as a ghost kitchen, will offer patrons a small and mighty menu centred around a classic and much-loved handheld variety: Chicken Parm Sandwiches. We’ll keep you posted on an exact launch date for this maker.
