Mochido donut shop set to launch in Vancouver soon

Vancouver’s new mochi donut shop, Mochido, is set to officially launch soon.

The concept describes itself as a “cloud kitchen” that will be operating out of Commissary Connect at 107-8811 Laurel Street.

Once it opens, Mochido will offer pick-up at that address, and it will also have delivery options available for folks in Vancouver and Metro Vancouver too.

The maker has been developing its mochi recipe for the past year and prides itself on using fresh, premium ingredients.

Mochido also tells Dished Vancouver it believes it’s the first in BC to use special equipment to achieve the iconic Pon de Ring donut shape.

Expect to see mochi donuts in varieties like matcha, churro, milk tea, milk and cereal, strawberry, chocolate, honey glazed, and black sesame up for order here.

Flavours will rotate monthly, so you’ll always have a reason to order from here on the regular.

In addition to its picture-perfect mochi donuts, Mochido will offer bottled brown sugar jelly drinks and Korean strawberry milk.

This concept will launch near the end of March/early April. We’ll keep you posted on an exact opening date.
