Vancouver’s new mochi donut shop Mochido is set to launch next month, so the countdown is officially on.

The concept describes itself as a “cloud kitchen” that will be operating out of Commissary Connect at 107-8811 Laurel Street.

The maker has been developing its mochi recipe for the past year and prides itself on using fresh, premium ingredients to make signature Pon de Ring donuts.

Expect to see mochi donuts in varieties likeĀ matcha, churro, milk tea, milk and cereal, strawberry, chocolate, honey glazed, and black sesame up for order here.

Flavours will rotate monthly, so you’ll always have a reason to order from here on the regular.

In addition to its picture-perfect mochi donuts, Mochido will offerĀ bottled brown sugar jelly drinks and Korean strawberry milk.

Mochido will soft open on Friday, April 2. After that, it’s planning on being open every day except for Tuesdays.

The maker will be accepting pre-orders with limited quantities each day. Keep an eye on its Instagram closer to the launch date, it will be pickup only to begin with.

Down the line, Mochido will have delivery options available for folks in Vancouver and Metro Vancouver too.
