While no changes were made to the building footprint in the new restaurant, there’s a lot of fresh stuff to look at (and eat and drink) at this revitalized spot, which will serve as a flagship home for Stanley Park Brewing Co. The brewpub features a full-service menu, an 82-seat tasting room, a 68-seat outdoor deck, and a 40-seat outdoor patio too.

Buttermere Patisserie Café

This new sweet spot recently opened at 636 Main Street (the former space of Greenderful). You may have had Buttermere’s treats before at different places around town, like the Leisure Center and Torafuku, in the past.

A brand new soy dessert cafe has recently opened in Metro Vancouver. Soytalk, located at #1410-4380 No. 3rd at Richmond’s Parker Place Mall, serves up housemade soymilk and soy ice cream made with a special machine from Japan.

A popular deep-fried pork cutlet spot from Toronto just opened its first BC location in Metro Vancouver.Mr. Tonkatsu has opened at 10320 152 St A in Surrey, right across from right across Guildford Mall. Known for its authentic deep-fried pork cutlet served with shredded, unlimited cabbage salad, sweet sauce, and housemade panko, Mr. Tonkatsu currently operates a handful of locations in Ontario.
