The Ballyhoo Public House has only been open in downtown Vancouver a couple of weeks, and it just launched a brunch that’s definitely worth adding to your to-eat list.

The newest concept to join the Donnelly Group’s ever-expanding pubs in Vancouver and beyond, the Ballyhoo, has been a bumping spot for those looking for a bit and a beer before and after movies (the Scotiabank Theatre is just a stone’s throw away).

Now, the new spot has launched its brunch service, which offers a wide selection of brunch dishes that give patrons some serious bang for their buck.

It was introduced just two weeks ago, and every main item on the menu is $16 or under – even the show-stopping Chicken and Waffles made with country-fried chicken thighs, sugared waffles, and fruit compote.

Did we mention the warm chocolate chip cookies that are served with every brunch order? Yes, this is a thing and you need it in your life, trust us.

You’ll enjoy the classic brekkie spread when you order the Ballyhoo Breakfast, along with the option to choose between sausage, avocado, or double-smoked bacon.

Other staples on the menu include the Eggs Benedict on buttermilk biscuits and the avocado toast on sourdough.

There are tons of plant-based options on this spread too, such as the new Westcoast Bowl made with a sunny side up egg, avocado, brown rice, and tomato, and the yogurt and granola – which could probably feed three people as the bowl is huge.

While many items on this brunch menu will be available across the board at many of Donnelly’s pub locations, Ballyhoo has a sunny outdoor patio with some of the best people-watching around, so enjoying a mid-morning meal here is a total no-brainer.

Ballyhoo’s brunch is offered on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm.
