Hip Hop Trivia Night at Juke Fried Chicken

Juke Fried Chicken is hosting a Hip Hop Trivia Night on the third Tuesday of every month kicking off at 7 pm. Teams of up to six are invited to take part in five rounds of questions on all things hip hop. There will be food and drink specials and prizes up for grabs too. Sign up as an individual or a team of up to six via email ([email protected]), Instagram or Facebook to guarantee a spot, or simply walk-in night-of.

Disco Dumplings at Burdock & Co

This weekly series features a savoury dumpling menu, DJ Chris Allen spinning vinyl, and a flashy disco ball setting the mood. Plates are $10 and guests can choose from an assortment of decadent dumplings including nettle and ricotta with wild greens and pork and burdock with charred chili sauce.

The Juice Truck X TMRW Foods Pop-up

Popular local juicery and cafe The Juice Truck will be teaming up with Vancouver’s TMRW Foods for a drool-worthy weekly event. The Juice Truck’s Main Street location will host a weekly pop-up on Saturdays from 11 am to 3 pm.

North Vancouver’s Shipyards Night Market

Back at it again, North Vancouver’s Shipyards Night Market is returning for Spring and Summer 2019. Gathering some of Vancouver’s best food vendors, this free event will feature a full farmers’ and artisan marketplace along with local food trucks and live entertainment weekly until 10 pm.

Richmond Night Market 2019

This market draws crowds from across the province, who travel to check out the rows on rows of vibrant cuisine along with the diverse line-up of nightly performances on the 50-foot entertainment stage.

Sunday Seafood Boil Series at Boulevard

Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar will officially be hosting its popular series of summer seafood boils for 2019. This epic feast is enjoyed outside at a communal table, and features fresh-caught lobster, jumbo prawns, clams, mussels, and Dungeness crab.

Josh Gale and Mak N Ming Italian Night

One August 1 head to Mak N Ming restaurant in Kitsilano for an Italian feast featuring Chef Josh Gale and eats like pizza and pasta.

Tacofino Pride Bingo Party at Taco Bar

On August 2 Tacofino’s Gastown location will be hosting four rounds of interactive Drag Bingo during Vancouver’s annual Pride Festival. Join local drag queens Mina Mercury and Carlotta Gurl at this event and enjoy an extended happy hour by sipping on the Pride-themed ’Te Amo’ cocktail. All proceeds from the Drag Bingo card donations and $2 from each cocktail sold throughout the weekend will be donated to Vancouver Friends for Life Society and Foundation of Hope. 43rd Annual Powell Street Festival

The annual Powell Street Festival is the largest Japanese Canadian festival in the country, which celebrates and promotes Japanese arts, culture, and heritage. It will feature live performances, martial arts demos, Japanese calligraphy, and most importantly, delicious food available for purchase.

Vin Van Brunch

Boulevard’s Executive Chef, Alex Chen will showcase the creativity of his kitchen team as he redefines the levels of sophistication and flavour of vegan cuisine. The event was created 31 years ago in Paris, and still carries on a set of traditions and rules that must be followed: you have to wear white and you must bring a table, chairs, and a tablecloth (all white of course).

Windfall Cider Summer Bash 2019
