Acclaimed Tokyo ramen spot 'Afuri' is opening a location in Richmond
We reported earlier this year that Japanese sweet spot Dazzling Cafe was closed for what the brand called ‘lengthy renovations,’ but it seems that another concept is taking its place.

Afuri Ramen and Dumpling has revealed its first Canadian location will be opening in Richmond in the former location of Dazzling at 140 – 7971 Alderbridge Way.
The acclaimed and popular restaurant hails from Japan, and it now operates a few eateries outside of the country in Portland, Oregon, and Lison, Portugal.

The Richmond location is just one new opening for the brand, which is known for its signature Yuzu Shio ramen and Buta Gyoza (pork), as Afuri has plans to open a Vancouver location (address to be determined) as well as outposts in California, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
