If it wasn’t already apparent, it’s really incredibly bad out there.
Tuesday night’s snowstorm left Metro Vancouver in a blanket of snow and caused heavy commuter delays across the Lower Mainland.
The majority of secondary and post-secondary institutions (including UBC, SFU, and BCIT), have cancelled classes due to the inclement weather.

TransLink has also warned riders of heavy system-wide delays, with issues such as frozen SkyTrain doors, closed stations, and stranded buses.
But don’t take our word for it. Here’s a look at what Vancouver looks like after Tuesday night’s storm:
Sent from my buddy out there, Vancouver is always ready for the rain but the white stuff is a whole different story. #vancouversnowstorm2020 #VancouverSnow #Vancouver pic.twitter.com/j9GCTx4oC4

View from my patio on Westwood Plateau Coquitlam (Vancouver).
Heavy snow last night.
Be careful if you have to drive anywhere today.

Give downtown Vancouver 15cm of snow over night and it turns into a ghost town pic.twitter.com/pJ4LyK6hg0

If you don’t have proper tires, do not attempt to get on the #Vancouver roads today. You will end up blocking streets & traffic. This is what residential st looks like. And forget about trying to leave your back alley. #BCStorm #VancouverSnow #VancouverSnowstorm2020 pic.twitter.com/KjiEk9dzYQ
