For those unfamiliar, Romer’s is best known for its wide assortment of burgers made with local, free-range, hormone-free beef from Semlin Ranch in Cache Creek, British Columbia. It also served sourdough pizzas, pasta, and more.
However, it’s unclear whether this new location will have the same offerings as its other restaurants or if it will offer a reduced menu. Additionally, an opening date has yet to be announced for the new location. Dished reached out to Romer’s for more information.
This new location comes just four months after the burger chain closed its Kitsilano spot.

YVR Airport has been going through a major shift in its food offerings, with many new eateries like Triple O’s, Bubble Waffle Cafe, and Lee’s Donuts all having recently opened in the mall. Additionally, White Spot is set to make its return as well in the domestic terminal pre-security.
In April 2024, YVR Airport was listed among the top 10 airports worldwide for food and drink.
