From participating in Dry January or deciding that the sober life works better for you, there are plenty of reasons to opt for a mocktail on a night out on the town. Thankfully, Vancouver is full of great options.
Whether you’re looking to catch up with friends and some bar snacks, impress your significant other with a fancy date night out, or want to hit up a brewery with your beer-loving pals, we compiled a list of some of our favourite places in the city to enjoy a well-curated non-alcoholic beverage.

DD Mau
According to us, DD Mau is a sleeper hit when it comes to non-alcoholic bevvies. Not only does it offer drinks like Vietnamese iced coffee (which are staples on any Vietnamese restaurant’s menu), but it also has a selection of clever mocktails like its Not-A-Beer (Jasmine green tea and milk tea foam) and Tra Da Iced Tea (the non-alcoholic version of its signature cocktails with Jasmine tea-infused Lumette gin, Divino aperitif bitters, and lemon).
Pair that with can’t-miss shareable dishes like the DD Mau Wings and Fried Stick Rice, and you’re in for a good time. There’s a reason DD Mau landed on our top eats of 2025.
Address: 145 E Pender St., Vancouver
Pinche Taco Shop
Perhaps the newest addition on our list, Pinche Taco Shop, has a Coconut Horchata that is a must-order with your tacos. Or, try something new and order one of your tacos as a burrita (no, not a burritO, a burritA).
Address: 367 Seymour St., Vancouver
Fable
Don’t sleep on Fable’s mocktail game. The Fable Virgin, a concoction featuring blueberry juice, cranberry juice, pomegranate syrup, lemon juice, soda, and grapefruit bitters, is a must-order for any mocktail fans visiting the diner and bar.
Address: 755 Richards St., Vancouver
Grapes and Soda
While Grapes and Soda might be best known for its selection of natural wines, its rotating mocktail selection also doesn’t miss. Whether you’re stopping by with your wine-afficionado crew or just want something non-alcoholic to pair with one of its charcuterie boards (or want to opt for a more substantial option like the Sichuan Duck Leg or Beef Tongue), you’ll definitely have a good time here.

Zarak
Under its zero-proof section of the menu, Zarak writes “transcend boundaries of alcohol-free living without sacrificing flavour or aesthetics,” and they’ve done exactly that.
Our personal favourite is the Pear Matcha Punch, a beverage with clarified housemade pear oleo, ceremonial matcha, vanilla, and lemon.
Address: 2102 Main St., Vancouver
Carlino
There are a few things better than enjoying a little aperitivo while sipping on a delicious cocktail, and those looking for something non-alcoholic are in luck at Carlino.
Options include the Moonlight Drive (grapefruit, lime, dill, carbonated white tea), Carnevale (jasmine tea, tarragon, lime leaf, non-alcoholic prosecco), or the Pearfection (Spiced pear, elderflower, soda).

PiDGiN
PiDGiN’s Asian French fusion doesn’t stop at just the food; it has also made its way to its cocktail and mocktail menu as well.
We’re particularly fond of the Cucumber Citrus imlet (non-alcoholic gin, lemon, lime, yuzu, and cucumber) as well as the Galangal Lemonade (galangal and ginger syrup, lemon, and soda).
Address: 350 Carrall St., Vancouver
Chambar
Movie aficionados will feel some familiarity with this cocktail, which is named after the 1998 film Smoke Signals. Even the menu makes the connection to the movie by including the quote “Sometimes it’s a good day to die, and sometimes it’s a good day to have breakfast.”
As for the drink, it features martini Vibrante, lapsang souchong tea, elderflower, and housemade tonic.

The Acorn
Perhaps one of the best-named cocktails on the list, The Acorn serves what it calls the Spritz Me Baby One More Thyme!, which features Everleaf aperitif thyme-infused non-alcoholic gin, and sparkling wine.
While you could argue it’s technically not a mocktail (isn’t anything non-alcoholic a mocktail?), we’re big fans of the Ginger Beer (cold-pressed ginger juice, cayenne pepper, fresh lime, sparkling water, Angustura bitters, and ginger candy).
Address: 3995 Main St., Vancouver
Blue Water Cafe
It’s safe to say that the team behind the bar program knows what they’re doing when it comes to both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options.
Expect curated sips like the Mistaken Identity (Roots non-alcoholic vermouth, bitter concentrate, non-alcoholic sparkling wine), Mocking Bird (bay leaf, coconut water, lime, and soda), and the Dutch Mule (Honeybush, yuzu, ginger beer, mandarin and kabosu sorbet).
Botanist
One of the most memorable meals in our long career of eating yummy things is when Botanist held its one-night-only dessert for dinner event, featuring seven courses of dessert with beverage pairings that were either alcoholic or non-alcoholic. Not only were the desserts delicious, but we were also impressed with the wide selection of non-alcoholic options we were presented with.
On its regular menu, you can find options like the First Bloom (cherry blossom tea, douglas fir, yuzu, and soda) and the Sudachi Girl (cucumber, kinome, sudachi, and tonic).

H Tasting Lounge
Named the best luxury hotel restaurant in Canada, H Tasting Lounge has stellar offerings all over its menu, and its non-alcoholic offerings are no exception.
Highlights include the Trade Route (vanilla rooibos tea, smoked plum, frankincense, and Giffard bitter concentrate), Mano Po (acid-adjusted guava, hibiscus tea, ginger, el guapo love potion bitters, and calamansi) and the Safe Escape (mango, pandan coconut cream, condensed milk, acidified grapefruit, and aloe vera).
