Everything new opening soon at the revitalized Lonsdale Quay Market

One of Metro Vancouver’s oldest public markets has undergone a major refresh over the past few years, and it’s about ready to show off its new look to visitors.
Lonsdale Quay Market has announced that it is ready to unveil its revitalized spaces, including several new major tenants joining the over 60 locally owned and operated businesses in the North Vancouver waterfront building.
“The Quay, which has long served as a vibrant marketplace and gathering space, is once again ready to shine, this time with an exciting array of new features that promises to elevate the experience for all visitors,” said Lonsdale Quay in a statement.

King Taps, a concept from the folks behind the Cactus Club Cafe, is the new anchor tenant at The Quay and opens on May 27. The two-storey flagship location will sprawl over 10,000 sq ft. and will serve up hand-stretched pizza, shareable entrees, burgers, salads, and bowls up for order.
Pair all of that with dozens of rotating taps, a sommelier-driven wine program, and a curated cocktail selection, and this spot sounds like the ultimate dining destination.

Oxygen Yoga & Fitness, known for combining yoga with fitness fusion to get your heart racing in a far infrared heated room, will be opening at Lonsdale Quay on May 19.
They offer various classes from hot power yoga to deep stretch and relaxation. New classes include Hot O2 Pump, Hot Fit-lates, and Resist It.
One of the most exciting aspects of the revitalization is the evolved Food Hall at The Quay, which will officially open in summer 2025. Some of the vendors featured at the North Shore foodie destination include Heritage Asian Eatery, Takenaka, and Krave Kulture.
Other additions to the dining scene here will include fried chicken and waffles spot Le Coq Frit and The Mainstay: A Market Bar. The Mainstay will offer patrons hand-crafted cocktails made with ingredients sourced from neighbours at The Quay, as well as 16 taps of select BC wines, brews, and ciders.
This renovated Food Hall will feature redesigned indoor and outdoor seating and communal tables. And Strathcona North is open for its first patio season, with new brunch items, new beverages, and extended hours.

Fiorino is expanding its much-loved Chinatown concept to The Quay in mid-June, and it’s where you’ll find rustic Florentine flavours inspired by the backstreets of Tuscany.
In terms of specific dishes, Fiorino previously confirmed to Dished that it is planning on keeping the program similar to the Chinatown program, focusing on seasonality and classics it has become known for, like its Coccoli e Prosciutto.

As for the space, Fiorino will have a waterfront patio that overlooks the Vancouver harbour and an intimate private dining room.
