Neighbourhood cafe known for rotisserie chicken to open first Vancouver location soon
After opening its first location in Whistler, a new neighbourhood cafe has set its sights on Kitsilano for its first-ever Vancouver spot.
Located at 2296 West 4th Ave., Vancouver, Provisions is gearing up to open in the former space of Browns Socialhouse, which closed back in 2022.

So, what exactly is Provisions? Well, its Whistler location brands itself as an all-day neighbourhood cafe that serves small bites and elevated classics.
Expect your typical cafe offerings like Provisions Egg Sandwich for breakfast (featuring a crispy poached egg, tomato, avocado and smoked cheddar on a seeded milk bun) and a selection of lunch sandwiches like grilled cheese, tuna melt, and crispy chicken. Additionally, you’ll find fresh-baked pastries, soups, salads, coffee, and tea offerings.
But what particularly caught our eye is the half and full roast chicken, available at its Whistler location after 1 p.m. Sourced from Rossdown Farms, this chicken is cooked in Provisions’ house spice and herb rub. Additionally, you can find a selection of burgers on the menu.
However, while these menu items are available at its Whistler location, it’s still unclear which ones will be making their way to Vancouver.
