Here's when King Taps' two-storey waterfront flagship restaurant at Lonsdale Quay Market is opening

It’s been a long wait, but the day is almost here! After first reporting on King Taps’ new two-storey waterfront flagship location in North Vancouver in April 2023 and then getting a sneak peek inside earlier this year, we officially have an opening date for this highly anticipated location.
For those unfamiliar with the concept, King Taps is brought to us by the team behind the iconic Cactus Club Cafe. It is known for its hand-stretched pizzas made with 24-hour-aged dough, huge beer selection, and fantastic atmosphere.
This Lonsdale Quay Market location is 10,500 sq. ft., will seat over 325 guests, and features a gorgeous view of the water and Vancouver. Vancouver’s McKinley Studios designed the space, which blends coastal textures with modern aesthetics to provide what King Taps described as an inviting, upbeat atmosphere.
There’s also plenty of Canadian art in the space with pieces from artists like Claude “Rocky” LaRock, Graham Gillmore, and East Vancouver’s Tyler Toews.

When it comes to food, you can expect the same pizzas that King Taps has become known for, alongside reimagined classic mains and shareable plates. Think items like the Stinging Bee Pizza, Spicy Vodka Rigatoni, Certified Angus Beef Steaks, and more.
Plus, on the drink side of things, King Taps Lonsdale Quay will have 30 taps pouring a selection of local brews alongside some global favourites.

“We’ve built something special here that feels true to the Lonsdale Quay community — local energy, unbeatable views, and a space that’s all about great food and good times,” said general manager of King Taps Lonsdale Quay Johnnie Walker. “We’re ready to open the doors, seat our patios, and welcome locals and visitors alike to take in the views.”
