Canadian music icons Barenaked Ladies spotted at Vancouver restaurant with Train
Canadian music legends the Barenaked Ladies were just spotted dining at Vij’s in Vancouver alongside San Francisco-based band Train.
“We had a few Barenaked Ladies in the restaurant tonight… đź‘€ Turns out they arrived by Train,” wrote Vij’s on Instagram with a photo of the two bands dining in the restaurant.

The Barenaked Ladies are currently in Vancouver to play a show at the PNE Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 2 as part of its Summer Night Concerts series, while Train is performing Tuesday, Sept. 1 at the same venue.

Vij’s, run by the famous chef Vikram Vij, is no stranger to the limelight, with many top actors, musicians, and more enjoying a meal at the establishment.
We’re talking about the likes of Sandra Oh (Grey’s Anatomy, Arliss, and Killing Eve), Tom Cruise (Top Gun, Mission: Impossible, and Jack Reacher), Harrison Ford (Indiana Jones, Star Wars, and Captain America: Brave New World), and Robin Williams (Mrs. Doubtfire, Good Will Hunting, and Dead Poets Society).
Other recent celebrity sightings at the restaurant include the cast from The Lord of the Rings and two-time Academy Award winner Hilary Swank.
Chef Vij has also recently launched his latest concept, Peacock, at Time Out Market Vancouver.
