Another Hollywood celebrity was just spotted at Vij's in Vancouver
If you want to spot a celebrity dining around Vancouver, your best bet is to hit up Vij’s.
The restaurant, run by the famous chef Vikram Vij, is no stranger to the limelight, with many top actors, musicians, and more enjoying a meal at the establishment.
We’re talking about the likes of Sandra Oh (Grey’s Anatomy, Arliss, and Killing Eve), Tom Cruise (Top Gun, Mission Impossible, and Jack Reacher), Harrison Ford (Indiana Jones, Star Wars, and Captain America: Brave New World), and Robin Williams (Mrs. Doubtfire, Good Will Hunting, and Dead Poets Society).
Now, another celebrity has joined the list of stars who’ve enjoyed a meal at Vij’s: Hilary Swank (Boys Don’t Cry, Million Dollar Baby). Except, this isn’t the first time that Swank has enjoyed a meal here.

On Aug. 28, 2025, the two-time Academy Award winner and a few friends enjoyed a vegetarian meal at the restaurant that included a spread of classic dishes like creamy dhal makani, vegetarian biryani, smoky eggplant curry, and coconut-curried vegetables.
This time, Swank opted to grab some takeout from the restaurant.
“Always nice to see a familiar face,” wrote the restaurant on Instagram. “Hilary Swank stopping by for her Vij’s takeout fix.”
In the post, we see Swank took the time to pose for a picture with Chef Vij with her food packed to go. Having been a repeat visitor, it’s safe to say that Swank is a fan of Vij’s.

Vij’s has been serving up modern Indian cuisine since 1994 and is best known for its creative dishes and impeccable service.
Of course, Vij’s isn’t the only hot spot for celebrity dining in the city. Other recent sightings include Jeremy Allen White, Hasan Minhaj, and Ronny Chieng.
