Hilary Swank spotted dining at celebrity-favourite Vancouver restaurant — here's what she ordered
Following Hudson Yang’s tour of some of Vancouver’s hottest restaurants, Hilary Swank (known for her roles in Million Dollar Baby, The Next Karate Kid, and Freedom Writers) has also been spotted dining in Vancouver at the celeb-fave eatery Vij’s.
“On Aug. 28, Hilary Swank visited Vij’s, where she and her guest enjoyed a fully vegetarian dining experience on the restaurant’s stunning rooftop patio, surrounded by thriving plants and fruit,” a representative from Vij’s told Dished.

For those unfamiliar, Vij’s is an Indian restaurant renowned for its inventive cuisine, exceptional service, and signature dishes, including its marinated lamb popsicles.
Among the many items Swank and company enjoyed were some ginger lemon sodas and a spread of classic dishes like creamy dhal makani, vegetarian biryani, smoky eggplant curry, and coconut-curried vegetables.
“Hilary was incredibly warm, even visiting the kitchen to personally thank the staff, and both she and her guest were genuinely friendly, soaking in the vibrant and welcoming ambiance of Vij’s rooftop dining,” added Vij’s.
