Jeremy Allen White makes stop at 'Vancouver's best oyster bar'

It’s no secret that Vancouver has been a hot spot for celebrity dining, with the likes of Bill Burr, Heather Graham, and John Mulaney all having been spotted dining through the city. Heck, even Prime Minister Mark Carney showed some love for a much-loved Vancouver bakery.
The most recent of these celebrity sightings has been Jeremy Allen White, who stopped by the Vancouver steak and seafood restaurant Joe Fortes.

White, best known for his acclaimed work on the FX seriesĀ The BearĀ as well as inĀ Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, has been seen around Vancouver while filmingĀ The Social Reckoning, the sequel toĀ The Social Network. In the movie, White plays investigative technology reporter Jeff Horowitz alongside costars Mikey Madison and Jeremy Strong.

Joe Fortes, a.k.a. “Vancouver’s best oyster bar,” has seen big stars in recent years, including John Cena, several band members from Fleetwood Mac, and Netflix star Lana Condor from smash-hitĀ To All The Boys Iāve Loved Before.
The Thurlow Street eatery has been serving up delicious food and wine to Vancouverites for over 30 years.
