What: Twilight concert experience is coming to Vancouver this winter, and fans won’t want to miss it.

The live symphony performance, presented by GEA Live and GFN Productions in collaboration with Lionsgate, is taking place at The Orpheum on Friday, March 14, 2025. Twilight in Concert will feature a live orchestra playing the film’s score while guests enjoy a screening of the supernatural love story.

Luckily, if your strata has electric vehicle charging stations, it might be able to earn credits for supplying the electricity.

The Vancouver Island Strata Owners Association (VISOA) is a non-profit society that has been providing support and education to strata owners in BC for over 50 years. On March 15, they’re going to help you find out if your strata is eligible for low-carbon fuel credits at a free online webinar: How Stratas Can Get Low Carbon Fuel Credits for EV Charging.

What: The BC Home + Garden Show returns to BC Place with everything you need to whip your home and garden into shape. The exhibition will feature home improvement, design, culinary and garden experts to inspire you and your home this spring.

The Blossom Melodies of Homeland

What: Neynava ensemble and Blackout Art Society have come together for The Blossom Melodies of Homeland, an evening of music and song that will transport guests back to their roots and touch their hearts.

2025 Indochino U Sports Women’s and Men’s Final 8 Basketball Championships

What: UBC is hosting the Women’s and Men’s Final 8 basketball tournaments at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre and Historic War Memorial Gym, and it will be the first time in U Sports history that a single university is hosting both events at the same time. Cheer on the teams as they compete for the championships from March 13 to 16.

Let’s Hear It BC Junos Plaza Party

What: Surrey will host the Let’s Hear It BC Junos Plaza Party at City Hall Plaza on March 15. There will be over 30 artists on six stages to check out throughout the day.

Headlining the festival are 2025 Juno nominees Tyler Joe Miller, Chani Nattan, and Inderpal Moga, plus renowned Punjabi singer Sarbjit Cheema. Other artists include Shawnee Kish, Brass Camel, Luca Fogale, Fionn, Empanadas Ilegales, and Ginalina.

Guests can also participate in an open jam, where they can play a variety of instruments and collaborate with fellow music lovers, as well as the vibrant 5X Art Party, where they can explore immersive selfie-photo booths inspired by Surrey’s unique town centres. There will also be free crafts and face painting, food trucks, and a beer garden.

Taste of the Tri-Cities

What: Taste of the Tri-Cities is in full swing with dozens of participating restaurants, breweries, cafes, and more. The festival lasts until March 15, so you have plenty of time to taste set menus from participating eateries, enjoy some sweet takeout specials, and potentially score a great discount on your meal.

What’s the Craic? A Night of Irish Devilry

What: Clare Voyeur presents a Paddy’s Day party as part of the 2025 Celtic Fest’s programming. Guests of the annual variety show will enjoy burlesque, comedy, live music, games, and more while learning about the spirit and lore of the Emerald Isle.

What: Sri Lankan artist Rajni Perera brings nearly thirty works from throughout her career to the Surrey Art Gallery for the exhibition, Futures. While she looks ahead to unsure times with social inequities and climate change looming, her future goddesses and inventive armours work to adapt to challenging times and places.

What: Vancouver Public Library hosts a variety of movie screenings for the public at its branches, and the best part is they are free to check out.

Fish & Sips at the Vancouver Aquarium

What: The Vancouver Aquarium’s adults-only after-hours Fish & Sips event series returns in September with its Lucky Tides edition.

Local craft beers, wines, and ciders, plus seasonal menu items, will be available for purchase during the St. Patrick’s Day-themed event. There will even be a special deep-sea DJ and a live fiddler for you to get your groove on.

Spring Break at Britannia Mine Museum

What: The Britannia Mine Museum invites visitors to take part in the family-friendly “Mini Mud Monsters” activity in their Terralab STEAM learning space as well as its new program, “Whatever Happened to Mt. Sheer?”

During the interpreter-led drop-in sessions, participants will discover what microorganisms in freshwater ecosystems look like up close through magnification. Guests will also learn what life was like in the historic Mt. Sheer townsite.
