Huge FREE Junos music festival is coming to Surrey this week

The Junos are returning to Vancouver in just a few weeks for the first time since 2018, and they’re throwing some huge parties across the province to celebrate.
The 54th Annual Juno Awards will take place on Sunday, March 30 at Rogers Arena, presented by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS). Michael Buble will be taking over the hosting duties this year.
Canada’s largest celebration of music includes Let’s Hear It BC, which will bring the spirit of the Junos to six BC cities, including Surrey on Saturday, March 15.
The best part? The huge music festival is completely free.

“British Columbia is a hotbed for emerging talent, and we wanted to curate a free program that would not only entertain local audiences but also showcase the diversity of our communities to music fans across the province,” said Nate Sabine, Vancouver Juno Host Committee co-chair, in a release.
“We are thrilled to be taking the spirit of the Junos across the entire province. These electrifying performances will take place in cities across British Columbia, building momentum towards the 2025 Juno Awards.”
Surrey will host the Let’s Hear It BC Junos Plaza Party at City Hall Plaza on March 15. There will be over 30 artists on six stages to check out throughout the day.
Headlining the festival are 2025 Juno nominees Tyler Joe Miller, Chani Nattan, and Inderpal Moga, plus renowned Punjabi singer Sarbjit Cheema. Other artists include Shawnee Kish, Brass Camel, Luca Fogale, Fionn, Empanadas Ilegales, and Ginalina.

Guests can also participate in an open jam, where they can play a variety of instruments and collaborate with fellow music lovers, as well as the vibrant 5X Art Party, where they can explore immersive selfie-photo booths inspired by Surrey’s unique town centres. There will also be free crafts and face painting, food trucks, and a beer garden.
“I am thrilled to announce the Let’s Hear it BC Junos Plaza Party, a vibrant celebration of music and culture right here in Surrey,” said Mayor Brenda Locke in a statement. “Surrey is rapidly establishing itself as Canada’s music city, and the city is committed to nurturing a dynamic environment for artistic expression.
Other stops on the Let’s Hear It BC tour include Terrace, Prince George, Kelowna, Victoria, and Nanaimo.
