A nostalgic Pixar films celebration is happening in Vancouver for spring break

One of the most beloved animation studios in the world is getting a new retrospective in Vancouver during spring break, and film fans will want to get their popcorn ready.
Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF) is presenting Generation Pixar from March 17 to 30.
The celebration at VIFF Centre Vancity Theatre includes 11 Pixar films from the company’s early years, including animated masterpieces and Oscar-winning classics.
Generation Pixar will also feature special presentations, including a Pixar trivia night, a behind-the-scenes talk, and a live musical performance. Fans of all ages are welcome to attend.

“Pixar’s little lamp has come to represent some of our most well-loved stories; films that are original, witty, emotional, and beautifully formed,” said VIFF Centre year-round programmer Tom Charity in a release.
“In Generation Pixar, we celebrate the achievements of the company’s first 15 years, a run of 11 extraordinary features which left an indelible imprint on children either side of the millennium — and their parents.”
