“We’re peacing out āļøšā¤ļø,” wrote the bar in a post on Instagram. “Mount Pleasant will always have a special place in our hearts. Thank you for welcoming us into this friendly neighbourhood and letting us be a part of it for a little while.”
Located in Mount Pleasant, Tocador is best known for its one-of-a-kind cocktail creations and classic Latin American and Cuban-inspired dishes. Think cochinita tacos (slow-cooked pork marinated in achiote), patatas bravas, and grilled pastor.
Tocador added that it will be open for the rest of October, with Halloween most likely being its final night.
“Over the next few weeks we will be sharing plenty of laughs ā and probably a few tears ā along the way. We’ve launched a new menu featuring some of our favourite cocktails from over the years, so come by and join us for some last drinks. There are so many people we would love to see before we go,” wrote the bar.

Bayside Lounge is located in the West End and is best known for its cocktails and the view of English Bay. It first opened its doors in 1979 and is expected to close by the end of the month.
“To our regulars, neighbours, visitors, DJs and every team member who has been part of Bayside over the years ā thank you. You’ve made this much more than a lounge. You’ve made it a place for friendships, celebrations, and memories that will stay with us,” added the restaurant.
