'A lot to do': Cobie Smulders reveals her favourite Vancouver tourist attractions

Hollywood star Cobie Smulders just can’t get enough of Vancouver, and she recently shared some of her favourite tourist attractions that locals and visitors should check out.
The How I Met Your Mother star recently chatted with Daily Hive and revealed some of the Vancouver spots actually worth visiting.
At the top of the list was Stanley Park, a destination renowned around the world.
“I think you have to do Stanley Park,” said Smulders. “I think that’s kind of a must.”

Stanley Park is consistently ranked one of the city’s most popular places to visit, and has even been named one of the world’s most beautiful sights.
There’s no better way to spend a few hours than by going on a bike ride along the scenic Stanley Park Seawall.
Stanley Park offers incredible views of the North Shore, Burrard Inlet, and English Bay. Make sure to take a break at one of the many beaches in the area to really appreciate all the beauty.
Vancouver-born Smulders added that choosing where else to explore “depends on your vibe.”
“If you have kids, the Vancouver Aquarium is great,” shared The Avengers star. “Science World, great.
“Then there’s also like the Capilano Suspension Bridge, which is pretty amazing. [And] I think you have to do Granville Island.”

Smulders is known to be a big fan of Hobbs Pickles, a New York-style pickle shop located in Granville Island Market.
And a previous conversation with her on how she would spend the perfect day in Vancouver included a stop at Granville Island for some goodies and fresh produce.
The Lego Movie star also shared her love of sports by recommending people check out and cheer on Vancouver’s many teams.
“We have so many great teams and multiple women’s leagues,” said Smulders, shouting out the Canucks, the Whitecaps, BC Lions, Vancouver Rise, Vancouver Goldeneyes, and more.
“Coming back as a tourist is amazing. There’s a lot to do.”

Smulders also recently dished on the one Vancouver restaurant at the top of her list: The Mackenzie Room.
“I will shout to the mountains, to the top of Grouse Mountain, my love of The Mackenzie Room,” Smulders told Dished. “It’s my favourite restaurant in Vancouver.”
Smulders also added that the restaurant was started by a friend of hers from high school, and every time she’s in Vancouver, she makes sure to go.
