"The Bachelor" star Matt James declares Vancouver has the world’s best pasta
The Bachelor franchise doesn’t always hit the mark when it comes to representing Canadian eats correctly, but that’s simply not the case when it comes to Matt James.
The reality TV leading man turned food/fitness influencer has documented his dining adventures in Vancouver many times now, and it seems the personality is at it once again.
James has shared a few videos over the last day or so, giving some local spots serious love and, in one case, the ultimate compliment.
On top of saying the Paragon Tea Room‘s Iced Matcha Latte was the best he’s had outside of Japan, James praised Ask For Luigi for having the world’s best pasta via a caption on an Instagram Reel.

In the newly posted video that appears to be a mashup of clips from multiple visits, James said the pasta from the Michelin-recommended restaurant had his “gold star of approval.” He mentioned the Alexander Street establishment has “captured lightning in a bottle,” making the best pasta he’s ever eaten.
This is high praise, considering the content creator’s main focus appears to be eating around the globe.
Ask For Luigi was also the foodie’s top food stop in 2023. James is in good company taste-wise, as A-list actress Blake Lively famously said this spot was one of the places that made her “favourite things in the world” back in 2020.
