Vancouver's original hot chocolate festival returns soon, here's what we know
While the bulk of the holidays may be behind us, there’s nothing to be sad about as we have some sweet news for Vancouverites. The city’s original hot chocolate festival is officially returning, and soon, at that.
The Greater Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival is confirmed to return for its 15th annual year of sweet treats and deliciousness, meaning we have some serious drinking to do in January.
This year, the festival will run from January 18 until February 14, 2025, Valentine’s Day.

Every winter, this delectable celebration of all things hot chocolate allows sweet tooth enthusiasts to sip over 100 drinks, and many come with a decadent treat on top or on the side. Think cookies, biscuits, ice cream, and more.
Last year, the festival featured a whopping 162 drinks from 71 vendors. Participating businesses were located in and around Vancouver.
While we aren’t able to share the full lineup of vendors just yet, you know we’ll drop it as soon as we can. What we can share, is that you can anticipate some of the wildest, tastiest, and most picture-perfect sips concocted specifically for this occasion by local establishments come January 18.
