The beloved Syrian restaurant Tayybeh has officially moved to a new, larger space after the success of its original outpost in Kitsilano.

Tayybeh, which is named after the Arabic word meaning “kind” and “delicious,” is a unique dining experience created by a group of newcomer Syrian women chefs.

At its new outpost, customers will find a menu with plenty of authentic Syrian dishes prepared by Tayybeh’s experienced team of newcomer women chefs.

The move to West Broadway allows Tayybeh to significantly expand its dine-in experience while remaining true to the flavours and traditions that have earned it a loyal following across Vancouver. Beyond daily dining, the new Mount Pleasant location allows for larger private event bookings in a warm, flexible space designed for connection,” wrote the restaurant.Ā

Additionally, Tayybeh’s signature experiences are also returning to the new space, including its Syrian brunch available on weekends.

Daily Middle Eastern High Teas will also be offered, featuring handcrafted sweet and savoury bites, all served with Arabic tea or traditional coffee.

Rooted in the lived experience of Syrian women who have built their lives in Vancouver over many years, Tayybeh’s new Mount Pleasant home reflects an ongoing commitment to food as a bridge between cultures. The West Broadway opening is not just an expansion of space, but an invitation to the wider community to gather, share, and feel at home,” added the restaurant.Ā

Tayybeh’s new location is currently softly open, with a grand opening celebration scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 1, starting at noon.
