Much-loved farm market reopens in Vancouver two years after fire

Two years after a massive fire forced it to close, alongside many other businesses, Sandy Farm Market is making its return to Vancouver’s Kerrisdale neighbourhood.
Located at 6007 West Blvd., Vancouver, Sandy’s is opening in the former space of Happy Farm Market.
Sandy’s original closed its Kerrisdale location in October 2023 after a fire destroyed it alongside Nando’s, Deer Island Bakery, Yummy Yogurt, Westside Vapes, Sandy Farm Market, and Pho Tan Vietnamese Restaurant.

Sandy Farm Market is expected to softly open on Oct. 21, with a grand opening scheduled for Friday, Oct. 24.
