Team behind B.C.'s biggest candy store to open new Vancouver location with ice cream

It’s obvious that Vancouver has a sweet tooth with the way Ricardo’s Kandy Korner and Ice Cream has been expanding, especially with the team gearing up to open yet another location in the city.
Ricardo Rizaie, owner of Ricardo’s Ice Cream and Ricardo’s Kandy Korner, confirmed to Dished that the team is preparing to open its first-ever dual concept in Yaletown.
You may recognize Ricardo’s as the name behind B.C.ās largest candy storeĀ and multiple ice cream shops found throughout Metro Vancouver.
At this new location, customers will be able to find over 400 different bulk and international candies, in addition to enjoying its selection of ice cream and gelato.
The new spot will be opening at 1022 Mainland St., Vancouver, which is the former home of The Juice Truck that closed its doors on Oct. 26, 2025.
Risaie also shared that customers will be able to visit Ricardo’s Kandy Korner and Ice Cream Yaletown location sometime in early 2026.
