Eggslut to open first Vancouver location this year

Vancouver is home to plenty of great breakfast sandwiches, and now international chain Eggslut is looking to join the fray when it opens the doors to its first location in the city.
Signs for the new outpost have gone up at 1136 Albeni St., steps away from other heavy-hitter restaurants like Din Tai Fung, Paris Baguette, Touk, and more.

Founded in Los Angeles in 2011, the breakfast destination quickly became popular for its elevated take on classic breakfast sandwiches. Since then, it has expanded throughout the U.S., U.K., Japan, and Australia.
“Eggslut started with a simple idea: take something familiar and make it exceptional,” said Andy Lee, co-owner of Eggslut, in a press release. “From a food truck in Los Angeles to a global following, we’ve stayed focused on quality, consistency, and intention.”
“From day one, our focus has been on building Eggslut in Canada the right way — with a local-first mindset,” added Adam Flook, development lead at Westrich Hospitality. “We’ve partnered with Canadian suppliers, hired a Canadian team, and approached this as a long-term investment in the market. While the brand has global recognition, we’re delivering an authentic Eggslut experience that’s deeply rooted in the local community.”
