Pyro 142nd Street

Pyro Grill just held the grand opening of its new 142nd Street location on Aug. 1. This restaurant offers its signature flame‑fired cooking with a chef-driven menu and warm hospitality.

This is its second location, with the first located inside L’OCA Quality Market in Sherwood Park.

White Rabbit Ice Cream

This popular ice cream parlour has just opened a new location on the south side of Edmonton to better serve the city. Its original location is downtown, and it currently operates only the two locations.

The spot serves original small-batch ice cream flavours with a rotating menu of its own creative and exciting “seasonal flings.”

Lovesong recently opened Wîhkwêntôwin, serving French and Middle-Eastern cuisine with casual bistro service. This restaurant was established by the owners of the local Iconoclast Coffee Roasters, a popular cafe.

From Sherwood Park to Edmonton, this cookie shop has finally opened its first location within the city. This new location sits right in West Edmonton Mall, a perfect hub for people to stop and check out the delightful array of cookies they offer.

Odd Burger

This chain focuses on plant-based fast food with a fully vegan menu, and just opened its second location in Edmonton. On Aug. 2, it held the grand opening for this location on the south side.

Odd Burger currently operates over 20 locations in total, including storefronts and mobile units.

This new mobile ice cream location serves some of the classic Kind flavours everyone knows and loves, and is powered by solar panels and a high-efficiency battery system to keep the ice cream cold and fresh.

Opening soon

Patricia Street Deli

After being forced to evacuate due to the Jasper wildfires, this local sandwich shop went through a transformative period. The team behind Patricia Street Deli raised money through its Kickstarter campaign and acquired a location in downtown Edmonton, just behind Grant MacEwan University.

The new location was initially slated to open this July, but after construction delays, it is now expected to open Fall 2025.
