The owners behind Meuwly’s Artisan Food Market, Peter Keith and Glendon Tan, are collaborating with Edmonton’s emerging restaurants to create a community-focused culinary space on Whyte Avenue.

The Hub on Whyte will be featuring a rotating calendar of pop-ups at their location in the historic Hub Cigar building, with some seating, a collaborative kitchen space, and inspiring eats.

“We know first-hand that collaboration is essential for small businesses to succeed. Our vision for The Hub is a welcoming space where culinary innovation thrives, and where Edmontonians can discover their next favourite food experience,” said Keith. “We’re excited to celebrate local talent and bring new energy to this historic building.”

Opening July 11, the first two food brands to be featured at the Hub are some of 124th Street’s finest. Beb’s Bagels, the Edmonton-based bagel pop-up by touring musicians Lindon Carter and Luke Breiteneder, and Balay Coffee, a Filipino-Queer coffee pop-up with refreshing specialty drinks. Both bring unique flavours and concepts, with this collaborative endeavour shining a spotlight on some of the best upcoming eats within Edmonton.

This pop-up is scheduled to end after the summer, so don’t miss your chance to stop by, support the community, and get a taste of what The Hub has to offer.
