Biggest celebrity restaurant and bar sightings in Calgary during the Stampede
There’s no better time for celebrity spotting in Calgary than during the Stampede. While millions of visitors descend on the city each year, it also brings in a ton of famous faces.
Outside of performances and appearances at the Calgary Stampede grounds and venues across the city, there were star sightings at so many YYC hot spots this month.
Here are some of the biggest celebrity restaurant and bar sightings in Calgary over the course of the festivities.
Guy Fieri

Mayor of Flavourtown Guy Fieri is no stranger to YYC. Outside of his appearance at the Cowboys BBQ Cook-Off, he spent time at numerous restaurants and foodie hotspots in the city during his visit last week.
Popular matcha pop-up The Matcha Way shared an Instagram story of Fieri in a car holding a cup of their matcha.
Meanwhile, pop-up wine bar City Boys Outpost shared a photo of their menu, which had been signed by the American restaurateur and TV host.
Speaking to Dished, Fieri confirmed he has shot another six Calgary spots for Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, so we can’t wait to see where else he checked out.

As usual, Calgary’s nightclubs were the place to be for the chance of running into some famous faces during the Stampede.
American singer Leon Bridges was spotted at Bleu nightclub in Calgary while in town for back-to-back sold-out shows at Spruce Meadows.
In addition to Bleu, Bridges was also spotted at Papi nightclub during its Stampede afterparty on Sunday, July 6.

Off the back of his enormous Coke Stage performance on the Stampede grounds, Don Toliver paid a visit to Bleu.
“The club really did go up on a Tuesday; it was lit,” Bleu said in an Instagram post.
Toliver was also joined by fellow performer Tinashe.

Following her Coke Stage performance, American singer Tinashe checked out Papi.
“Last night was nothing short of amazing! Shout out to Tinashe and her crew for stopping by our Stampede afterparty after her incredible concert,” Papi said in an Instagram post.
