Calgary neighbourhood pub to close just nine months after opening

When Kensington spot Scuba Jay’s closed last year, it was quickly replaced by a new bar, The 10th Round, at 302 10th St. NW.
However, in an Instagram post, The 10th Round has confirmed that it will sadly be closing its doors in two weeks’ time, just nine months after opening.
“Itâs hard to put into words what this place has meant to us â and we truly wouldnât be here without all of you,” the bar said in an Instagram post.

“From the regulars who became family, to the first-timers who walked in and felt at home, you helped turn this bar into something special.”
The neighbourhood pub offered a wide range of craft beers, non-alcoholic beverages and classic bar food. It also had $10 daily food specials.
Fans of The 10th Round will still be able to visit the spot for the next couple of weeks in the lead-up to its closure.
