One of Calgary's most popular coffee spots is opening a new flagship location

When Primary Colours closed its doors in Calgary last month, we were eagerly anticipating what would be next for the Britannia space. Now, its sister spot, Monogram Coffee, has teased an exciting new step in its journey.
While Monogram Coffee already has a much-loved cafe in Britannia, it has revealed that the former home of Primary Colours, located at 802 49th Ave. SW, is set to become its new flagship cafe next month.
“We’re building out our flagship cafĂ© in the beautiful space next door that was previously home to Primary Colours,” Monogram said in an Instagram post.

“We’ve always dreamed of a larger cafe space where we can offer our championship-winning coffee menu alongside a full kitchen and bakery, inspired by our favourite cafĂ© experiences around the world,” it added.
Monogram began its journey as a pop-up coffee cart but has since expanded to four locations across the city in downtown Calgary, Altadore, Britannia and the University District.
While the coffee company hasn’t shared many more details on what to expect from the new Britannia flagship, it is slated to open in August, and we can’t wait to check it out.
