Popular Calgary pizza spot closes one of its locations after five years

A popular Calgary pizza spot has just closed one of its locations, but it’s not all bad news.
In an Instagram post, Actually Pretty Good (APG), known for its… well… actually pretty good pizza, shared that it had closed its First Street Market location after almost five years.
APG had been a staple at the food hall since it opened in 2021, becoming a popular spot to pick up its signature pies in the heart of the city, or even just a slice or two.
“We want to thank the Victoria Park community and everyone who came through the food court for being a part of our journey there,” the team said.

Brought to life by the team behind Our Daily Brett, Neighbour Coffee, Business & Pleasure and Super Variety, Actually Pretty Good has become one of the city’s most notable spots for pizza, natural wine, and beer.
Luckily, there are still APG locations in the city to enjoy, in Bankview and Crescent Heights.
The team also teased that while it was no longer operating at First Street Market, a new location is on the way, with details to be revealed soon.
