New daytime restaurant concept with sandwiches and cocktails opens in Calgary
When Neighbour Coffee announced it was closing its Inglewood location at the end of 2024, we were intrigued to know what would be taking its place. Luckily, we didn’t have to wait too long to find out with the arrival of Calgary’s newest sandwich spot, Super Variety.
Super Variety is the latest project from the team behind Business & Pleasure and Our Daily Brett, providing a one-stop shop for sandwiches, wine, and cocktails in the heart of Inglewood.

The space has been completely transformed into an inviting daytime spot that’s perfect for grabbing a quick bite with an impressive menu of freshly made sandwiches and sides.
The standouts from the menu include the crowd-pleasing T.B.C. with turkey, pepper bacon, shredduce, white cheddar and honey mustard on focaccia, the Buckin’ Brocc with charred broccolini, fried halloumi, honey harissa and sundried tomatoes, and the Bulg-Hoagie stacked with Shabu-Shabu beef, bulgogi sauce, kimchi, daikon pickle and more.

While the spot still offers coffee like its predecessor, Super Variety is all about creative cocktails with an array of highballs and cocktails, wine by the glass or bottle, and beer and zero-proof options.
In addition to being a prime dining spot, Super Variety has a bodega with a wide selection of olive oils, olives, preserves, and chips that are perfect for enjoying at home.

If you’re looking to check out Super Variety, the space will be open from 11 am to 7 pm Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and from 11 am to 5 pm Friday and Saturday.
