Here's when the new food concepts are opening at YVR Airport

Early this year YVR Airport announced plans for over 20 new food and beverage concepts set to open over the next two years, along with ten new retail spots.

While we shared a few exciting additions that would be coming to the airport, we now have even more info and renderings than before, including when and where some of the most anticipated will be opening.

A global operator of food and beverage outlets in travel locations, SSP Canada, will be opening ten new concepts too – so there’s going to be a lot to dig into.

A few new spots have already opened up at YVR, including Uno Gelato and the illycaffe.

Pacific Farms Market

New local marketplace concept Pacific Farms Market is brought to us by Tastes on the Fly, a San Francisco-based boutique airport restaurant operator.

Pacific Farms Market will operate in both the Domestic and International Terminals (post-security for both) opening in Spring 2020 and Summer 2020, respectively.

Pacific Farms Market full-service bar, fresh-made grab and go items, artisan retail snacks, and five made-to-order food stations (poke, sushi, etc) featuring locally sourced and seasonal items, and baked goods from Purebread Bakery.

Much-loved local taco spot is slated to open in the Transborder Terminal post-security October 2019.

Heritage Asian Eatery

Popular local maker of Asian comfort food Heritage is set to open in the Domestic Terminal post-security in Spring 2020.

The Dirty Apron

This much-loved local deli and cooking school will be opening a spot serving up a menu of eats like freshly baked bread, produce, and meats from regional producers. It is slated to open in the Domestic Terminal post-security in Spring 2020.

Japadog

Japadog is set to open in the Domestic Terminal pre-security in January 2020. Folk can expect all the signature Japadog eats plus the brand’s new breakfast menu.

Other new concepts coming to YVR Airport include edgy Denmark coffee spot Joe & The Juice, Hawksworth Kitchen, Steamworks Bar & Restaurant, Whistler Brewing Lodge, and Red Truck Beer Stop.
