Vancouver's stunning new bakery, mill, and cafe is opening today (PHOTOS)
Back in February, we told about much-loved local brand Flourist and its plans to open a new bakery, mill, and cafe on Vancouver’s Commercial Street, now, the time has come for it to officially open.

The 3433 Commercial Street spot is looking stunning and will be opening its doors today at 11:30 am.
Flourist (formerly known as GRAIN) finally has a brick and mortar spot to sell its fully traceable grains, beans, and flours.
But that’s not all that’s happening here, Flourist’s new 2800-sq-ft space offers sourdough bread baked daily using fresh flour stone-milled on-site, along with an all-day menu of eats.

This menu features a variety of toasts, savoury galettes, and grain salads too, along with sides like hard-boiled eggs, pressed yogurt, pickles, and more.
The sweets sections looks pretty impressive — a Chocolate Chip Cookie Slab (AKA served in a wedge), a Brownie Slab, a Hazelnut Jam Cookie, biscuits, ice cream, and a daily cake are all up for order here.

Naturally, the bread selection is pretty darn good too. The menu lists Sourdough Boules, Sourdough Pan Loaves, Seeded Pan Loaves, Pullman Loaves, Baguettes, Multigrain Loaves, and Cheese Sticks.
The drink selection here offers folks an array of caffeinated beverages, teas, and a Hibiscus Lemonade.

Flourist will offer customers a local pick-up option, which means they can purchase goods online and pick up in-store.
After today, Flourist will be open daily from 7 am to 6 pm, be sure to stop in and welcome the team to the neighbourhood.
