What: The Let’s Hear It Live Juno Block Party will showcase a variety of established Canadian talent and emerging artists on the TD Main Stage. Attendees will enjoy performances by local and Juno-nominated artists, discover a night market with local vendors and delicious food, and more.

The block party is just one of the events planned for Vancouver during the Junos season. There will also be an Indigenous business of music workshop, a music therapy session, an Indigenous storytelling circle and music industry mixer, and a lunchtime concert series at The Carnegie Centre.

The Magic Festival

What: Get ready to be astounded as the Magic Festival returns to New Westminster this week. Catch world-famous magicians like Shawn Farquhar with 52 & You at Hidden Wonders, cheer on the next big star as Vancouver Magic Circle presents the Children’s Magician of the Year competition, and more.

What: The Arts Club presents Cambodian Rock Band, a dark-humour, genre-defying play about a Khmer Rouge survivor returning to Cambodia decades later just as his daughter is about to prosecute one of the country’s worst war criminals.

A live band will bring classic Cambodian songs and contemporary Dengue Fever hits to the stage as the play travels back and forth in time and showcases the enduring power of the human spirit and music.

Sound Meets Colour: HOLI 2025 

What: Canada’s largest outdoor Holi music festival is coming to UBC this weekend with headliner Tesher alongside DJ HARK, Kokaheena, RAYTRIX, SABZI, and Shalv.

The festival will also feature organic colours, CO2 Jets, a massive LED wall, and several food trucks to keep the thousands of guests fuelled for the fun.

Media Res Gallery – Henna Night II / Shabe Kheena II by Hangama Amiri

What: Vancouver’s Iranian Visual Arts (VIVA) Alliance is hosting its inaugural exhibition at Media Res Gallery: Henna Night II / Shabe Kheena II by Afghan-Canadian artist Hangama Amiri. The acclaimed artist is known for her textile wall hangings portraying how women’s lives are influenced by ideas of gender and social norms in Afghanistan and beyond.

Henna Night II / Shabe Kheena II features artworks from an ongoing series with scenes from traditional Afghan pre-wedding rituals that speak to themes of nostalgia and loss.

Differences Aside: A Comedy Event

What: Vancouver Public Library hosts a variety of movie screenings for the public at its branches, and the best part is they are free to check out.

The 54th Annual Juno Awards

What: The 54th Annual Juno Awards will take place on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Rogers Arena, presented by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS).

Canada’s largest celebration of music includes festivities across the city, a Canadian Music Hall of Fame induction, and Michael Bublé hosting and performing during the star-studded event.

The Juno Awards will also induct Canadian pop punk rock legends Sum 41 into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame during a special presentation. The live broadcast performance is also set to be the group’s last.
